Reality and fiction are not permanent fixtures but ideas that are always up for being explored, questioned and a lot of fun.
TeaterKUNST creates playful contemporary theatre performances that blur devisions between reality and fiction - mixing the familiar with the unknown.
Our stories are performed in the many narrative spaces surrounding us. You can encounter our performances in secret venues, in luxury hotel rooms and on city streets. Sometimes we even appear in theatres.
As an audience we gently include you in our work. You may be blindfolded and taken on a magical busride, or get invited to a vernissage of artworks portraying Cruel Women, or taken on a timetravel across the globe. Intimate, exciting, fun experiences - that always are playing for real!
TeaterKUNST co-founded the @work network performing arts research platform in 2005 that makes seminars, festivals, performances and workshops all over Europe.
We have performed at Baltic Circle (Helsinki), Sophiensaele (Berlin), CINARS (Montreal), Metropolis (Copenhagen) and much more.
