TeaterKUNST is an experiencial theatre company creating TeaterKUNST tells contemporary stories in new contexts that question our surroundings and gently includes our audience. TK makes theatre performances based on subjects that challenge, upset, puzzle and amuse us. Performances such as FACEBUS or Wall 2 Wall are based on research conducted with a wide variety of artists and people possessing valuable knowledge from different countries – to ensure a multitude of perspectives. TK’s performances blur the lines between fiction and reality in order to challenge the audience to question what they experience – also beyond the performance. By using questions, critical awareness, gentle inclusion, storytelling spaces and blurred boarders in our theatre work, we aim to exercise one of the most vital organs in society: Empathy. This means that every time we perform we are - playing for real!
